Wow, this sure did seem like a short month! There was a lot going on including some fun learning in ELL! Check out the sight word games and reciprocal teaching that has been happening. Pictured below is Kindergarten singing and playing, "Turkey, Turkey" while practicing their letters and sounds the last time before break. First grade enjoyed reviewing all of this month's sight words while playing, POP! Second grade practiced reading and writing their sight words with a word work center of their choice. Pictured below are pictures of both "Chalkboard Write" and "Magic White Write." Grades 3-5, working on practicing their reciprocal teaching using puppets and National Geographic Magazines. If you haven't done so already, grades K-2, please be sure to return the signed copy of the sight word game that was sent home. Grades 3-5, please return the first "Family Links" homework. Thank You! Have a great Thanksgiving break! I know I have a lot to be thankful for, including each and every one of these students that make Room 2 a happy place to be!
