Last Thursday, November 10th, we were very lucky to have a Southwick Zoo school-wide event. We enjoyed learning about different animals, their habitats, species that are becoming endangered and why that's happening. It was a fun afternoon filled with learning and excitement! In second, third, and fourth grade, we kicked off November by enjoying the read-aloud, A Turkey For Thanksgiving by Eve Bunting. Then we wrote a reading response in order to persuade people to eat something besides turkey for Thanksgiving.
We had a three day week at school and in Kindergarten we spent the time reviewing our name songs and the letters and sounds that we've learned so far. Can anyone give me a word that begins with any of the letters we've learned so far-m,t,a, s?
